Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Robot Ops website and the professional services we provide (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing our website or engaging us, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
Robot Ops, Inc. ("Robot Ops", "we", "us") is an engineering consultancy that designs, builds, and supports machine-vision inspection and AI workflow-automation systems for manufacturers. Consulting engagements are governed by a separate written agreement (a statement of work or master services agreement); where that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the signed agreement controls.
2. Use of the website
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems;
- Interfere with or disrupt the website; or
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse any part of the site.
3. Submissions and inquiries
When you contact us — for example, through the consultation form — you may share information about your parts, processes, or documents. You represent that you have the right to share that material. We treat it as confidential and use it only to evaluate and respond to your inquiry. Do not send information you are not permitted to disclose.
4. Intellectual property
The website and its content are owned by Robot Ops and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Deliverables from a consulting engagement are governed by the ownership terms in the signed agreement for that engagement; our standard position is that you own the system we deliver, built on open, standard components with full documentation.
5. No warranty on the website
The website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free. Warranties for delivered work are set out in the applicable engagement agreement.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Robot Ops shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website. Liability arising from a consulting engagement is limited as set out in that engagement's agreement.
7. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance.
